A big hello and welcome to Fairytale Dreams...

My name is Kris Oughton, I am the Director of HB Events & Floral Design Company Limited and it is a great honour to present and share Fairytale Dreams with you.

 I originally started business in 2011 with Fusion Flowers Birmingham, Birmingham’s No1 Florist, and over the past few years I have expanded the business offering our services with Chair Covers, Candy Cart and Full Room Décor.

 I have been a Florist for 15 years and weddings & events have always been a passion of mine. Not only creating floral design for a special couple or creating 150 table arrangements for a corporate event, but I have always supported the customer with sourcing suppliers and helped with the final details for their special day and helped with ideas.

 In 2012, I began a Facebook group called Fairytale Dreams Network and invited along suppliers, brides, grooms and customers. Connecting everybody together and it worked really well. Relationships built and suppliers began to throw ideas around etc. which gave me the idea of setting up Promotional Network Photo Shoots and expand Fairytale Dreams.

 In 2013, I decided to take on a course into wedding planning and offered my services to brides and grooms to help bring their vision to reality. I enjoy every minute of being part of somebody’s special day or event. I’m here to work with you, point you in the right direction, whether it be full wedding planning, floral design, chair covers or on the day coordination. I promise our services at Fairytale Dreams is second to none and no detail is left unturned.

• Fairytale Dreams: Wedding Magazine, an e-magazine packed full of tips, do’s and a don'ts, interviews with suppliers and real brides and inspiration for your special day…

On Sunday 23rd March 2014 we hosted our first amazing Promotional Photo Shoot and Networking Event held at the Amazing Somerford Hall and with over 40 suppliers and 16 models I am absoloutly overwhelmed and so proud of the out come. Over the next few days we will be releasing 9 Blogs from the day. It truly was the most colourful weekend of the year as all the suppliers came together to create some amazing rainbow themed products.
